Thank you to Sharon Johnson at No Time To Stamp!

I apologize again for not posting...this Holiday season has taken a toll on me and my family. We all caught a stomach virus over the holidays and even today we are trying to get well.

I Totally CASE'd this card from Sharon Johnson. I saw this a year or so ago on her blog and found these cards at Wal-Mart...so I copied her, because I loved what she did with it! The ribbon is, of course, from her store 100% silk white. The stamps are from JustRite Stamps "Christmas Treasures." I used Versamark to stamp and heat embossed the image with gold embossing powder...The Spellbinders Nestabilities Circles and Scalloped Circles were also used.

Then I thought I would post another of the presents I made for family and friends. This was a glass square ??? bowl that I purchased at Hobby Lobby and I added some greenery and embellishments from stems. The manger scene I also purchased at HL...and I placed it on top of green, red and white decorative accents with white lights added, so you can plug it in and the lights show off the colors of Christmas.

Every one that I gave this to, just loved it...and, it gives me many more ideas for next Christmas :)

I hope all of you had a Very Happy Christmas!

Hugs ~

Hi, Velta! I hope you're feeling better now. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things after a few days off the computer. Lots of catching up to do! LOVE the way you embellished your Wal-Mart card! That's a great idea and it turned out so beautiful! And your gift -- oh, what a fun and lovely treasure. No doubt all your lovingly put together gifts were received with much joy.

I'm sure you're over the illness by now Velta, I'm late in chiming in. I've had both my guys home. The day after Christmas we headed for the beach for 5 days, then had New Year's celebrations with my hubby's family. My youngest flew up to New York on the 3rd, my oldes is still at home and leaves for Nashville on the 10th. It's been so crazy around here with everyone's schedules! Your card is gorgeous, what a wonderful tribute to Sharon, I'm sure she's thrilled! And the lighted gift is over-the-top creatively festive. I'm sure the recipients were thrilled with your beautiful gift! What a nice heirloom to keep for generations to come!
