Chrysanthemum

I Love this image from Artful Inkables. Guess you can tell that I am just a "little" bit partial to Artful Inkables stamps. I have had the best time on this Design Team and coming August 15th my reign will be over. I have certainly learned an awful lot about Design Team duties though and working with these INKgirls and Kristin has been just a "DELIGHT!"

Remember to check out Kristin's blog because she is going to pick some very talented INKgirls for the next go round.

The base of this card (5"x5") is SU's Sage Shadow (one of my very favorite colors). I then cut out a square of black cardstock that I bought from Michael's. The DP is from Hot off the Press Flowered "Handmade" papers and Vellum. These are some of the most beautiful papers I have ever worked with. I used my Circles Nestibilities for the back ground of the Chrysanthemum. I used Gold Embossing Powder and Heat Embossed the image. I was going to color in just a little, but I thought it would take away from the elegance, so I left it as is and just cut it out and put it on dimensionals. I used some very small gold beads for the center. Gold Glitter dots for the corners and Gold Ribbon for the sides. This image has sooo many possibilities and I will be using it again and again.

Please click on the photo so you can get the IRL look of how pretty it is.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog and for all of your sweet comments. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead !!

A Little Fun with My Cuttle Bug

This will be a short one, cause I have to get back to work...and I am making my DD and SI some Rotel Dip so they can have something to snack on tonight.

I created this card using my CB folder (cannot remember the name), but I am sure most of you are familiar with it. I used a MS punch at the bottom with added pearls. The ribbon came from a $1.00 bin at Michael's. The Happy 90th Birthday Stella ! was computer generated. I colored with my Copics.

Just wanted to get in here and post something new for the next couple of days. I have so many orders for cards right now that I am feeling a little pressured. So sometime tonight I have to get to those too. But, hey isn't it wonderful to have such a "happy hobby?" I just smile everytime I walk into my studio to begin working on my projects.

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead and thank you for your comments and your visits !!

Artful Inkables Blog Hop

Hi everyone!!! Today is kind of a down day because this will be my last blog hop with Artful Inkables. I have had the greatest time getting to work and to know these wonderful DT ladies. Their artwork is exceptional and I feel so honored that Kristin gave me a chance to be on her DT. All of these ladies, including Kristin were a blast to work with and each and every one were extremely helpful in every way. I hope that we have been an inspiration to all of you and I look forward to the new DT that will be coming in soon.

I just had to post another "Into the Moonlight" project. I put this one together with coasters that I bought from Michael's at $1.00. Ya gotta love that. I put black text paper on the coasters and used my Petite Circle Nestabilities to add the images, which I did with Versamark and Black Embossing Powder. I started to color them, but decided that I really liked it just the way it is. The checkered ribbon came from WalMart. Just a fun project!!

The second photo is from "Plant Prints" another one of Artful Inkables great images. On this one, I used some older SU DP. I used my Labels 4 Nestabilities and stamped the image with Versamark and then heat embossed the Gold Embossing Powder. I used a MS punch at the bottom, some jewelry spacers I found at Michael's and some gold glitter dots from Hobby Lobby. The flower at the top also came from Michaels and I added a rhinestone to the middle. The ribbon is also from SU.
If you came from Cathy's then you are on the right track...now you need to hop over to Kerri's to see her creations. Please feel free to click on the pictures to get a better look at the details. It was 5:00 a.m. when I took the pictures and therefore, kinda dark.
Once again, thank you all for stopping by and checking out my fun stuff. As for Kristin and Artful Inkables...I will be posting many more of her images...I have almost all of them. I think she is by far one of the best artists in the business and a "gem" to work with !!

Into the Moonlight & Fictionally Inspired

This 1st card is from Artful Inkables and it is called Fictionally Inspired. I was so excited to find the DP at Hobby Lobby...knowing it was perfect for these images. I used my Long Nestabilities Deckled Rectangles for the Greeting. Anyone who has followed the "Twilight Series" will know about Forks, WA...LOL...The Wolf Print has a meaning, but once again you would have to be familiar with the series. The heart buttons came from my stash. The ribbon is May Arts Ivory Satin. I used SU's Punches for the paw print.

Today it is going to be raining here all day. That is not a bad thing, because down here in the South we need the rain during the summer. I had a wonderful weekend spending it with my family. We went out to eat at a fabulous Italian Restaurant. Good Grief that was the BEST Italian food I have ever eaten. We went shopping until my feet hurt, but it was a "good" hurt...LOL...can there be a good hurt? Anyhoo, I hope the rest of you had a great weekend also.

This card was a "blast" to make. Of course, I am "really" into the whole "Twilight Series" and therefore, this is one of my favorite sets from Kristin at Artful Inkables. If you are familiar with the series, they played baseball in a field and it had to be played when it was thundering, because when they hit the ball it was "LOUD!" I found this baseball paper at Hobby Lobby along with the baseball buttons. I used my Petite Circle Nestabilities and the Blossom Nestabilities. Tuxedo Black Momento Ink was used to ink up the images. I also used my Long Deckled Nestabilities to put the baseballs on. I colored with my Copic Glitter and Copic Ciao Markers.
I really appreciate all of your comments and wish you the very best of weeks...We will be havig a Blog Hop this Wednesday, so come back...so you can see all of the DT member great art work!!

Artful Inkables

Hi all!! I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th weekend! Mine was fabulous...I had Friday off from work so it ended up being a 3 day weekend for me! I really needed the rest and that is just what I got! Yesterday I was so bad that I did nothing but watch movies, read my latest novel, eat, and sleep. I did not leave my house...Oh, it was just wonderful!!!

This card was made from the sets Into the Moonlight and Fictionally Inspired from Artful Inkables. For any of you who are into the "Twilight Series" this set is a must!! There are a set of 8 images in the Into The Moonlight and 34 sentiments from Fictionally Inspired. Check it out at Artful Inkables. I used SU's Sage Shadow for the cardstock and SU's Creamy Caramel. I used the Nestablities Rectangle to put the image on and my SU's punches for the sentiment. I also used Martha Stewart's Branches Punch. I colored the wolf with my SU markers and added 3 black brads to the side. I have many more ideas for this image, but I am moving on to another in this set. I myself am into Team Edward :)
Gotta Run...time for work. Here is wishing all of you a very happy week!!
