One of my very favorite Stamp Companies, Flourishes
is giving us a challenge to make a card where the image is "framed." This is a FTTC18 Challenge Here is my card using one of the images from Flourishes "Sweet Pea" set. This is one of the most beautiful sets I have ever seen. Of course if you go back in my blog, you will see many, many images from Flourishes. I just love what they do !!!

I made this card using lavender cardstock from Michael's. The DP I also purchased from Michael's and it comes in a 12x12 book from Hot Off The Press, called "Flowered Handmade." Some of the prettiest papers I have every seen ! I used flowers from Michael's and rhinestones that I received as blog candy. The purple cardstock was pierced with an Oval Ornare Stencil that I purchased from Joan's Garden. I also purchased the Ornare pricking pen and the mat from Joan. I just love her little shoppe and she has sooo many wonderful things you can order there. The image is of course from "Sweet Pea." I used Copic Ciao markers and shaded around the image, which was stamped in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink.
You have got to admit...this is a gorgeous image ! Thanks Flourishes for this challenge and for your lovely images !!!

You outdid yourself with the frame. I'm sure it took a good bit of time with the pricking pen. As you know purple is my favorite color. Love it!

Now that I look at this again, the way you filtered shaded the edges with your camera the bottom photo makes it look like an Easter Egg. Would be a lovely card for that season.
