I made a couple of these graduation cards for my friend Debbie at work, who had two of her cousins that were graduating. I used white cardstock and the paper background came from Hobby Lobby. I used my Lables Four from Spellbinders Dies and the Cuttle Bug Swiss Dots Folder. The graduation cap charm came from Hobby Lobby. The sheer black ribbon from Flourishes and the gem from my stash (which means I do not know where I got it). The sentiment was computer generated. The smallest Labels Four is done on sparkly paper. Yesterday was a really fun day for me. My sister and I went grocery shopping together, which we do every weekend. Then we went to Lowe's and she bought a door knob and I bought another embellishment tool box. Actually, I think it is really for nails, screws, etc. There are nine drawers and they are the perfect size to hold all of my Flower Soft jars, Embossing Powders and rubber stamps. I get so excited when I come across another way of organizing my "stuff." I have a feeling that most of us in this craft love to organize. When my studio gets really a mess after not having time to clean, that is the one room I really love cleaning, cause I am also organizing. I dunno, could be OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder)...LOL...I have been told that it runs in my family.
Then my sister and I spent at least 2 hours in Books-A-Million. I could live in that book store and so could she. After that, we went out to eat a scrumptious meal. We always have such a great time together. I am blessed to have her in my life. (If you see this Annie, you owe me for putting you up on a cloud!)
Here is a wish that you all have a great week ahead! Thank you for stopping by!

Gorgeous card! So classical and elegant! Love the embossing and Nestabilities choice!
Glad you had s fun time shopping!
Oh Velta.. that is just beautiful.. wondering how you put the computer sentiment on the card? Did you just print it out and cut it to the size you wanted? (non2@sbcglobal.net ) I am so happy you and your sister had such wonderful week end... I am still so sad about my sister, I had to bury her last year the day before my birthday (aug 1) We didn't know she was sick till I took her to the hospital one night and the doctor told me she would be lucky to live 2 weeks, she live 1 week... Enjoy all the time you can with your sister, you never know... So sorry to go on and on...
Velta, I got the directions from Pam over at: thriftyscrapbook.blogspot.com/
if you look back to last year on her blog, she has the directions, let me know if you need any help in finding it. Aren't they just adorable...

What a great card, Velta! I love the sparkly panel and the very cute charm! You're so fortunate to have a sister to spend time with like that. It sure would take the drudgery out of grocery shopping. I love cleaning my room, too. There's nothing like getting it all spiffed up and organized to make me want to sit down and stamp!
This is a seriously elegant card Velta, love it
