Hello Everyone! It has been the best weekend! My sister and I shopped all day yesterday and we stopped for lunch at Panera Bread...yummers! When we went to Hobby Lobby, who had a 50% off sale on all of the Thanksgiving goodies...well...let's just say we spent some "fun" money!!! Oh my the wonderful little Thanksgiving scarecrow statues (one boy and one girl) I had to have them....then there were candles and candle holders...ribbon for an upcoming Bridal collection I am making for one of my good friend's daughter's wedding! Been working on that one almost all day! Cannot wait to post it.
Anyhoo...This card was made for a coworker who has retired. Bye Debs it has been nice working with you :) I used Paper Trey Ink's Linen and Canvas Impression Plate for the background...love the way this looks. I then used Spellbinder's Nestabilities dies (sorry...I think # 9). On the smaller Nestability I used the cuttlebug embossing folder, which of course I don't know the name of...I heat embossed white embossing powder using Versamark. I colored the rose and the leaves with my copics and then adhered glitter to the flower and a rhinestone to the middle. The ribbon came from Sharon's Ribbon Store. It is 100% Silk...love this stuff. The butterfly was punched using Martha Stewart punch and lined with rhinestones down the middle. The sentiment was computer generated.
Such fun...My goodness I am hooked on paper crafts! I cannot wait to show you guys what I have been working on! Hope you all have the best of weeks ahead and thanks again for taking the time to stop by and commen!
