The Lilac Set

Hello all ! I have been having computer problems...illness in the family...and other issues going on in my life. Thus the reason for not posting. I know you all have the same issues that just "goes with life." The good news is that all is well now with my family.

This card is made with the "Lilac Set" from Flourishes. It is the Magnolia stamps that I embossed with gold embossing glitter. I used Swarovski Crystals, and at the hand of the fairy, I used a rhinestone heart image. I used my Nestabilities Rectangles and the paper is from Once Upon A Time, Fairy Dust.

The problem with this card is...when I finished and was ready to take the picture, I noticed that I had glued everything upside and outside wrong...The only way I can use this card will be to cut the front of the card and glue it to another cardstock...Oh well, this kind of thing just happens sometimes...

Hope you all have a great week and thanks for your visits !!

What a beautiful card Velta!! I hate when that happens - it happens to the best of us!! Glad to hear that all is well in your family now - life does get overwhelming in a hurry sometimes! But - stamping is always the way to survive right!

Ooh! I love this background paper and the way you added rhinestones as if she is doing some kind of magic. Very pretty. That kind of stuff happens to me all the time. You can use floss to gently take out the layer and stick it on another card.

I will send you an email about liquid glass if I can find your email address.

I hate it when I have an upside down, outside wrong kind of day. But when you do it, your creation still turns out so lovely. Beautiful card!

P.S. I left you an award over at my blog! Go grab it!

This card is Beautiful Velta!! and I'm so happy to know I'm not the only one that does that occasionally...great idea though to just cut it off and use the front....sure beats tearing it apart and ending up with nothing!!

Gorgeous, Velta! I love what you did with the beautiful paper, too. Even though you can't use this card as is, it will make a beautiful front for another card--all ready to go!
