My Daughter's Birthday

Hello everyone ~ This is a Birthday Card that I made for my DD...Today is her birthday and I made this card in about 10 minutes last night...I used Papertrey Ink's Melon Berry cardstock and used my corner punch for the edges. I used Versafine Ink and White Embossing powder to stamp the beautiful Year of Flowers: Violet image 3 times and then heat embossed it. Then I took white cardstock and stamped Happy Birthday from a stash of stamps that I have had forever...no name...sry...and I used Melon Berry Ink for this. I added some rhinestones to the flowers and the sentiment. I then used PTI's envelope liner for the envelope...so it would match. Sorry I couldn't show you the inside...I computer generated a lovely Happy Birthday note on the inside.

I have been blessed to have a daughter as wonderful as she is. She has been my happiness from the day she was born. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me and she knows that I love her WHOLE BUNCHES!!!

Thank you for letting me share her Birthday with you! Have a great "rest of the week" and thank you again for your visits and comments!

Paper Trey Ink and Just Rite

Hello Everyone!!! So sorry it has been so long since I have posted and/or visited and commented on your blogs! I have truly been busy...mostly with my job, but also with family. We are all well now, but it seems there is always something.

At any rate, I am posting this card that I made for a friend who is retiring.

I used Paper Trey Ink's Delightful Dahlia for the flowers and leaves and JustRite Stamper's Victorian Nested Frames & Occasions.

I used white shimmery cardstock and white text paper from Paper and More. I used SU's Brilliant Blue Cardstock over the White. I scored the text paper with my Scor-Pal. Added the embossed flowers and leaves and Best Wishes Sentiment. Then I added some blue rhinestones to give just a hint of elegance.

Again...it will be a while before I can post again...Please be patient with me. I will be glad to get back into my craftroom on a regular basis again...I SO miss it! Thank you for your comments and your faithfulness...it means a lot to me :) Have a great weekend all!!

Plant Prints from Artful Inkables

Hello everyone!! I hope your New Year was the BEST! My family and I are well again...Thank you Lord! I would not have wished that stomach virus on my worst enemy (hmmm...I'll have to think about that). Just kidding.

This is a short post...I have more work I have to get done before tomorrow.

I joined a swap from Artful Inkables using their Plant Prints. I heat embossed this leaf with copper embossing powder. The papers are from SU and Hobby Lobby. The cardstock from Paper and More. The ribbon also came from Hobby Lobby.

Thank you for your visit and for your wonderful comments. I REALLY do appreciate your opinion and treasure the friendships I have made in the last year. I hope I have been as good to you as you have been to me. Thank you also for your inspiration...I love visiting your blogs and getting ideas for new art work. Have a great week !!
