Greek Gardens from Artful INKables

This was such a fun card to make, but I will bet that I took at least 20 pictures of this card just trying to get a good close up. It is so much prettier IRL. I used SU's Sage Shadow for the cardstock. The beautiful paper came from Tracy Porter Colorbok Memory Craft. I just love this paper and have lots more in different colors. I bought this paper from Michael's, and it came in a 12x12 book...the title on the book was "Surround Yourself with Loveliness!" And I just fell in love with it...I hope there are others out there that get excited over paper...My DD thinks there is something kookoo about me and paper. I feel the same way about fabric and when my DD was little I made all of her clothes for her (ungrateful wench). Sorry...got a little side-tracked. I used Nestibilities Oval Dies and stamped this beautiful image with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored the image with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I used stickles on the flowers and on the water. The butterflies are, of course, MS Punch with little rhinestones down the middle. The flowers and the silver charm flowers were bought from Michael's. I ended by using a corner punch on all 4 sides because I felt it matched the curves on the ovals.
I have more images from these new sets coming up. Artful INKables has them posted at Kristin's store. I just want all of them! Talk about stamp versatality (sp?) and low cost...Check them out...she has stamps for every kind of whim !

Greek Gardens from Artful INKables

Happy Saturday!! I am so glad I decided to take off of work today! I have just been lazing around the house. Getting on the puter, reading my last Twilight book, taking pictures, working on my DT stuff. What fun! I call this a "me" day...and I intend to do nothing else but for "me" today.

This card was sooo much fun to make! I have more images from this Greek Gardens Set to share with you. I am going to get busy today...I love, love this whole set...It is so elegant and right up my alley. I got the DP from Michael's. The background Pink Shimmery Paper is from a gift bag I got at the Dollar Store...gotta love the Dollar Store...The ribbon is May Arts and I used a...Jewelry Silver thingy...I forgot what it is called...to put behind the sparkly dot. I used Nestabilities Mega Long Deckled dies and colored with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. If you click on the picture, you can see the Swarovski Crystals that I attached to the Berries on the Vine. These photos are not the best, cause I took them very early this morning and there really was not enough light...sry.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for your visit!

Artful INKables New Releases and Blog Hop

Today is a :New Release" day from Artful INKables. I am so thrilled to bring you brand new stamps from Kristin at Artful INKables. These images are just fantastic and totally different from her other images! I guess that is why I love all of her stamps, because they are ALL so very different!

This card was made from the new set called Celestial Bodies. There are 7 stamps in this set and these beauties are right up my alley!! I used Dark Blue Shimmery Cardstock from Paper and More. The DP is from "Once Upon A Time." I used the Labels Four Nestabilities under the image of the moon. Versamark and Ranger Gold Embossing Powder. Little rhinestones on different parts of the moon. The Flower from stash. The moon charm came from Kristin's Shop (she sent it to me). It was originally silver, but I painted and used gold glitter to make it match the card.

What a fun set of stamps these are!!! I can think of sooo many ways to dress each of these up...can't wait for you to see the next set I am using...I have already started it and It is SO VERY Elegant!

Now you need to "HOP" over so you can see what a fantastic job Dawn has done with her new images from Artful INKables!

Thanks for your visit and mostly thank you for your wonderful, sweet comments :)

Critter Country and Deer Friends

Happy Easter!!!

Both of these images come from Artful INKables. Are these not the cutest ever??? The first one is a nutty treat bag with cashews as a treat (my personal favorite)! This was super easy to make and I love the colors and the paper. The ribbon actually came from an invitation to a wedding I just received (the things you don't throw away can always be used for 'something'). The squirrel and nut images were just what I had in mind when I made this! Oh, I ate all the cashews after I took the picture...I will have to fill the bag up again...

The second picture is a racoon on a tree stump...I colored with my Copic Ciao Markers and cut the images out...put them on dimensions to make it stand out. I colored the flowers, which by the way, I bought at Hobby Lobby as a flower spray and they were white, but with Copics I changed the colors of the flowers to match the background paper. I love the added lace to the circle. I used SU's Pretties Kit for the pearls and cut the sentiment with some curly scissors.

Coming This Wednesday...Artful INKables is having a New Release Blog Hop...Peeps...You really do not want to miss out on this...Kristin's images are amazing!!! She is so darn talented that she can go from cutesie animals to Beautiful Elegant images...You all have got to see these new releases...Ya know, I do not have to go on and on about Artful INKables, just because I am on the DT...(Go Me)...mainly because once you see these stamps, you are really gonna love them all.

Do not forget April 15th Wednesday...Blog Hop!

Again, wishing you all the most Blessed Easter...and thank you for the visit and all of your sweet comments. I hope you like what you see !

Critter Country from Artful INKables

Another of my favorite stamps from Artful INKables This one is called Critter Country and the sentiment is also from Artful INKables. There is a whole set of 18 different sentiments in this set called Basic Sentiments. This little fox is so darn cute I just had to add 'Smile' because that is just what he is doing...smiling. I also used the grass stamp which comes with the Critter Country set. Colored with my Copic Ciao markers. The cardstock is Apricot Appeal from SU and Mellow Moss from SU. The DP is from Hobby Lobby. The leaves came from a spray of silk flowers that I have had forever. I used a dragonfly that was bought at Michaels and gold string to attach the 'smile' sentiment. I also used Labels One (I think) from Nestabilities and SU punch to add the sentiment. Oh, and a rhinestone from a pack I have had forever on the leaves.
The Design Team at Artful INKables are some of the very best I have ever seen...The girls have so much talent! Please look to the left of my blog and click on their names to get a chance to see what they have come up with. Also Artfulinkables is having tutorials on Kristin's blog and you can really learn some really great ideas if you visit her blog.
Hope you all have a great rest of the week and thank you for your comments !

Deer Friends from Artful INKables

My posting has much to be desired and I apologize. Finally after at least 3 weeks, I am on the mend, healthwise. I have got to say that this has been one of the worst illnesses I have ever had. But again, I am on the mend :)

This little bunny is ready for Easter...and she is just waiting to go hopping down the Bunny Trail !! Can't ya tell? I used DP from Hobby Lobby, cardstock from SU, Copic coloring, Ribbon and egg buttons from Michaels, and Petite Round Nestabilities. The best thing about this stamp...is that if, colored brown, grey, blue, or green and with different backgrounds...Whala!!! It looks like a new stamp every time!! I wanted her to be pink first because I wanted a girl bunny, but with a change of color, she can be a he bunny...I could go on and on, but...I think I will quit on that note as I am quite sure you have all had enough of this nonsense !

This is one of my favorite sets from Artful INKables...all of the stamps in this set can be used for EVERY occasion...including Easter (obvious), Thanksgiving, Birthdays, Christmas, and using your imagination, very other holiday as well.

Have a wonderful week and thank you bunches for stopping by !
