Easter Tree from Serendipity Stamps

Is this not the cutest image??? What fun for Easter! I used SU's Lovely Lilac for the Cardstock and added Lilac Avenue by Kaiser Craft which I bought from Sharon Johnson's Store. I also bought this gorgeous ribbon from Sharon. I colored the image with my Copic Ciao markers and used the Nestabilities Deckled Edge Die. I added some ribbon that matched, but I do not remember where I got that. The butterflies are punched with glitter paper.

You can get this adorable image from Serendipity Stamps. I still have another image from Serendipity that I want to share with you...that will be next.

The weather has been fabulous here...around low 70's...with bees and butterflies and everything turning green...just it time for Easter! Here's wishing you the best of weeks ahead!!!

A Small Glimpse of an Easter Sentiment

from Serendipity Stamps!! I Love this font because it just screams Easter! I have just lately found Serendipity Stamps and I have to tell you I could buy...buy...buy!!! And I will, just not all at one time :) Please click on the link above so you can see all of the amazing images for every season and for every day!!

I used Spellbinder's Fancy Tags and stamped the image with VersaMark then using yellow and white Zing embossing powder (I mixed them together) I heat embossed the sentiment. I used white cardstock that I buy from Paper and More. This cardstock is 110# and it is metallic. My very favorite cardstock ever!! I used Papertrey Ink's Lemon Tart 2008 Bitty Box Basic DP, the Lemon Tart Buttons and the Lemon Tart Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon. I have really become a big fan of Papertrey. They have so many beautiful colors!!

I have bought a couple of more Serendipity Stamps for Easter and I will be showing them soon. You are just going to LOVE them!!

I want to thank you for your great and meaningful comments...I hope you all have a great week!

An Old Stampin Up Image

This is an old Stampin Up image called Artfully Asian...One of my favorites. I used SU's Sage Shadow for the card stock and Pretty In Pink card stock. The DP came from my miscellaneous stash. I used Nestabilities Square Dies and Long Deckled Edges ...Copic Ciao Markers to color...Pearls...small butterfly punch and glitter pink paper...Sage Shadow Ribbon...and another pearl...also some rhinesones to the center of the butter flies. The sentiment was computer generated. Let me know if you like this one.

I have had the very best time looking at Papertry Ink's newest releases...My favorite is Delightful Dahlia...Hope you have time to check it out...http://www.papertreyink.com/ !

Here is wishing all of you the very best of weekends!!! Thanks again f0r your comments!

For Her Wedding

Hello to all my buds who so kindly comments on my posts! This card and gift card holder was made for my sister's (Annie) great friend who just got married. I really did not have a lot of time to make this so I made it very simple, but I do like the way it turned out.

The card was made using white cardstock and the DP is from Handmade Flowers from Paper Pizzaz. I just love these papers. I used Deckled Nestabilities in SU's Sage Shadow and White. The Sentiment is from Flourishes Many Sentiments and I used Sage Shadow Ink to match. The pearls came from Michael's and the ribbon is May Arts.

The Purse Card Holder is from Gina K's Designs Blog. I just love this darling bag and I have made at least three more from Gina's tutorial. If you go to her gallery, you can see the card holder. The tutorial is on page 41 of her blog. Again I used Sage Shadow for the purse and the same DP to make it look like the card. I used some white flowers that I got from Michael's and a spacer with brad. I don't recall where I got the spacer and brad...sry. The ribbon is SU's Sage Shadow. I also used magnets from Gina's shop for the closure.

If you look at the card holder when opened, you can see where the card is supposed to go...I have a piece of white paper stuck in where the card will go.

We are having some nasty weather here...It has been storming most of the day and tomorrow there is supposed to be a 90% chance of more rain. Ugh!

I have made a new place where I take my pictures now. I hated that awful tent. It took up so much room in my studio...all I did was get a foam poster board from Hobby Lobby. I cut it so I could have a backdrop and a floor for the cards. Put my photo lights on and ta da! I do think the pictures are better with this new system. I hate it, but I have so many cards that I want to post that were taken in that awful tent...so bear with me when you see those cards...you will know it by the darkness of the photos and you can see the back where I used pins to hang the backdrop...I am so glad I got rid of that tent. You can click on the picks to get more of the deets.

Thanks again for stopping by and leaving such awesome comments!!
