Paper Makeup Stamps Size Matters

I am posting too early because I have family plans today and tomorrow. Today's Challenge is to the left "Size Matters!" Re-size your digi stamp. Well, I am still a novice at this, but I re-sized this "Twisty Tree" digi image so many times that I finally came up with a size that was usable...I will be glad when I have this technique down pat!

Don't ya just love the image though? I started to put a bunch of bats around it, but it was so lovely that I just left it alone!. I used Paper Trey Ink Green Tea Leaves Collection Papers for the

background...I just love these beautiful papers. I was going for an autumn theme with the colors here. I put SU's Certainly Celery behind the Spellbinder's Lacey Squares and used a corner punch.

The image was colored with Prisma Color Pencils and Gamsol and then I sponged the background with Memento's "Cantelope" and "New Sprout" inks.

I used Paper Trey Ink's "Spring Moss" ribbon at the bottom. and made a bow with a darling little owl sticker that I found in my stash from K & Company. I really think the owl added so much to this image...kinda Halloweeny and yet, definitely "Fall/Autumn." A plus that the little guy matched the papers.

Here is a close up of this little owl. I hope you will join in on this challenge with Paper Makup Stamps. Just remember that "Size Matters." The digital stamps over at Paper Makeup Stamps are just darling! Please check out the blog and see what is happening there. Just a "Lot of Fun!"

I wish you all a very happy week ahead! Thank you for stopping by!

Paper Makeup Stamps Word Art

Good Morning All! Our challenge for Paper Makeup Stamps today is to use Fabric on your project!

This is the first time I have used Word Art for an image and I really love how it turned out!

I used this verse because it means something to me. I have a beautiful home and remodeled it about 6 years ago. I remodeled every room in my house and even added a beautiful glassed in patio with colorful slate flooring. I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed my home and this verse says it all.

To make this card, I used Paper Trey Ink's Autumn Abundance patterned paper. Isn't it beautiful? I used Spellbinders Labels

Two and sponged Momento Ink's Tangelo. Amazing what a little bit of sponging can change the whole look of a card. I also added PTI''s Orange Zest ribbon to the bottom. The Fabric quilted leaf I purchased at Hobby Lobby years ago and they came in this orange, green and brown. Just perfect for this challenge. The three glitter dots were also purchased from Hobby Lobby...I love them so much, but this year they are not in stock or I would have gotten more.

I hope you like my version of this challenge. I plan on using more Word Art from Paper Makeup Stamps in the future.

To join in on this challenge, here are:

The Rules- You must use a digital image onyour entry(hey, it is a digi challenge after all)
- The challenge will be every Monday
- A winner will be selected every week by random.org
- The winner will get to choose any 3 digi images from PMS as their prize. If the winner used a PMS image on their entry, they'll get 2 bonus images (for a total of 5!)

I have gotten to where I do not fight with blogger anymore. It puts my paragraphs where it wants and it takes too long to change it. Here is a close up of my fabric leaf. I am off to work. Have a wonderful week and stay safe. Thank you for your visit!

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette #27

Another color palette from My Time Made Easy..

Only thing I missed is the
Brown" color...Hey guys, you cannot always make perfect...I just never saw the brown color...maybe it is my eyes...blue though they may be...sometimes I just cannot see everything.

Okay...this is not my favorite photo...but I was trying to get the little rhinestone on the petal to show up...so there you go...you can click on it to see the deets.

I am So addicted to Paper Crafts…cards, boxes, purses, okay…just about anything paper…sometimes I wonder if I have a problem…but then, I see how much I enjoy myself creating and relaxing when I create, and, well, there you are! I am happy to know that I am not the only one who feels this way!

I am honored to be a member of My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Design Team. So I will share the next Pretty Palette colors!

This is from the digi set, “Bee Loved.” The sentiment is from “Bee Loved Sentiments” “just because.” The Designer Papers are from Wildflower Blooms, Wildflower Pearls, Pear; and Wildflower Pearls. The box is from "Tying Up Lose Ends." What a great way to give a present...you can add soaps and candles and, well, any number of prizes to this little box.

I used a Martha Stewart Punch for the bottom of the card…The labels are from Spellbinders Fancy Tags. Rhinestones on either side of the sentiment.

It is amazing to me to be able to go to My Time Made Easy and just punch a couple of buttons and “whala” I am able to purchase images that I REALLY like and then I can also purchase Designer Paper, as well. So many things can be created with these images…you can make them any size you want…You can have designer papers to the max. I have so much fun with My Time Made Easy!

Thank you all for your visits...your comments and just for stopping by. I wish you all the best of the next week!

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette # 26

Hello blogging friends!

In honor of 9/11 we have used the colors of the American Flag !!! A sad occasion, but a tribute to those who were “first responders” and to all of the courageous men and women who were there to help!! To all of those who lost their lives and to their families! To the USA!

I am honored to have the opportunity to have digital examples from MTME to show my tribute. In this creation, I used Sentimental Occasions Labels digital image “Prayers.” The digital papers are from My Time Made Easy “Seawater Diamond Silent Night” and “Neopolitan Diamond Candied Apple.” You have got to admit that these papers are perfect for this occasion. MTME has the BEST digi papers ever. The greatest thing about them is you can use them over and over again....I already have such a stash...No more spending money on DP...because you have it all here at MTME!

I also added a Wilton Doily and some 7/8” crochet lace from Sharon's Stamp Simply Store with 1/8” velvet red ribbon and red Kaiser Craft Rhinestones, also from Sharon’s store ! The ribbon was tied with Bow Easy and I added another red rhinestone to the center. Please click on the pic for a better look.

I spent my Saturday with my sister, Annie...and we went shopping and out to eat lunch...What a blessing to have her in my life...I will never take that crazy woman for granted. She is, and will always be my best friend! We have so much fun when we are together. It is not her fault that she is a "nut case!" So I just go along with her antics and enjoy...!

I hope your weekend is a great one and your week ahead is the best! Thank you for your visit and I wish you all the best for great health and happiness!

Paper Makeup Stamps Challenge

Happy, Happy Good Morning to All!! I am very excited to have been asked to be a Digi Makeup Artist on Paper Makeup Stamps Design Team ! This is quite the thrill! The ladies on this team are awesome to say the least...they have answered every problem that I have had and team leader Jami has come through for me on every single question!!! Needless to say, I feel very honored !

Welcome to our first digi makeover challenge at "Paper Makeup Stamps !" Our first challenge is a color combo, which is the official colors of the PMS blog, Pink, Grey, Black and White.

I have used the digi image called "Emma," which is a silhouette image. The sentiment is from "Celebration Sentiments." All from Paper Makeup Stamps. Isn't this the cutest image ever??? I love the font of the sentiment too.

The paper came from my stash and the lace crochet ribbon and the flowers (Prima) came from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. I used Spellbinder's Lacey Ovales to cut out the image and added flat backed pearls. I also added some very tiny Martha Stewart Pearls below the sentiment.

Please check out the Paper Makeup Stamps Blog to see all of the new Designer's creations and to see the wonderful digi images at the store. Digi's are really easy peasy and especially not expensive...no problems with storing in CD cases or boxes...all of them are at a touch of the keyboard access.

Once again, I am so excited to be a part of this awesome team...Thank you for your time and for your comments !!!

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette

Another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette.

As you can see, I have the color combination in the "smallest" of pics...dunno why that is happening. I had a great time with this creation. Used MTME Blooming with Elegance digital papers. Is this not beautiful? I used a MS border punch with SU's Tempting Turquoise. Colored the image with Prisma Color Pencils and Gamsol and then added glitter pens and stickles glitter. I also used stickles "Diamond" for the bee's wings. The images are from "Bee Loved" at My Time Made Easy. Then added some Turquoise rhinestones to the left upper corner....

I hope you like this one...I am enjoying working with MTME images and papers...mainly because it is so EASY to get to and you have instant comeback once you order...no waiting and use of the papers and images are "forever!"

I wish you all the very best of this holiday weekend...I KNOW I am going to enjoy the time off from work...and time with my beautiful family! Thank you for your visits and comments!
