Flourishes Peace

Hello all...This is the card I made for everyone that I sent Christmas cards to. The picture is not nearly as pretty...and the silver paper is sparkly.

My family has all been sick with some kind of respiratory virus and that is why I have not posted more. I got the bug and now I am just sick...LOL...happy new year to me :)

Needless to say, I used the Cuttlebug Embossing Folder for the tree...Love that one!

I wish all of you the Happiest of the New Year!

Flourished Christmas

My favorite Christmas stamp is this from Flourishes
No matter how many times I use this stamp it is always simple and elegant ! I used some sparkly blue cardstock that I've had for a while and then used my Cuttlebug Christmas Ornaments folder on white shimmery paper. Versamark ink and Silver Embossing powder made the tree and a "Dress Me Up" silver dot for the top of the tree. The Silver shiny paper made with the Rectangle Nestabilities came from Michaels. I used Robin's Nest Pebbles in Primary Colors and the sheer blue ribbon also came from Flourishes. A touch of silver thread and this card was ready to go.

So...here is the killer...I have Corel Paint Shop Pro and Corel Media One...Is anyone familiar with these two photo softwares? When I fix the pic with both of these...the card looks just beautiful and like it is in person...but I cannot pull the card up on blogger with these two softwares...Am I making sense? It always makes me pull it up through my Documents and Pictures...which does not give it the statement it deserves...I have saved the pics from Corel Paint Shop Pro and Corel Media One to my Documents/Pictures...but it still does not look as good as it does with these two programs...If any of you knows of a way I can pull my pics up through the software programs...please let me know...I am still (Obviously) in the learning phase...and hopefully I will get better with time (which I have none of ...LOL)

Thanks for the visit...have a great rest of the weekend :)

Look What I Bought from Joan's Gardens

I love this wonderful tool...it is easy to handle, because it is small and it works perfectly everytime! Cost? $12.99 plus shipping! Try going elsewhere to find this toy for this price! Go to Joan's Gardens

and see what else she sells. She has great prices on everything! Spellbinder dies, JustRite Stamps, Scor-It products, Scor-Pal products, Crafty Secret Stamps, Inkadinkado Stamps, Hanna Stamps, Art Impression Stamps, Cosmo Cricket Paper, Kaiser Pearls and Rhinestones!! Her prices are fantastic and I plan on shopping there often.

This is the easy loading disposable adhesive cartridge that you can also order from Joan's blog. I also purchased one of these. Price $7.99 plus shipping. How great is that?

I bought these glorious looking stamps from Joan's Gardens

They are "Winter Shapes" and are they not just stunning? I hope I get a chance to use them to make Christmas Cards before Christmas. If you go to Joan's blog, you will see what beautiful cards she made with these stamps and...I bought them because of how she colored them...Just Perfecto!! Price? Just $9.95 plus shipping!

Thanks Joan for my new toys...Oh...ordering from Joan was easier than ever...Shipping was amazingly FAST! I was so excited when I got home yesterday and found the box sitting on my front porch...I did not expect to get them for at least another two days! Ya just gotta love it ~
