Music a la Carte

Hello all!! I hope you have enjoyed a good week...and know you are looking forward to the weekend...I know I am !

I am so excited to share this next card with you. It comes from Artfulinkables. You have seen the other instruments that I have designed around. This one really makes me happy. I just hope the photos are going to give it justice. I used shimmery cardstock from Michael's and the other papers also came from Michael's. I embossed this image with Ranger Silver Embossing Tinsel and then heat set it. The rhinestones are from Michael's. Then I added a bow with ribbon that I bought from Flourishes. I think it is called "sea foam." I added a spacer and brads that I bought from Michael's as well. I used Robin's Nest Pebbles in Silver, and whala !

Now...Kristen at Artfulinkables is have a Spring Cleaning Event. She is giving a wonderful discount on her Bare Rubber Sale. Check it out...cause I don't think even the INKgirls can participate...It is just too good to be true !!!

All I can say is WOW!!! Seriously, I'm learning the best way to TRULY appreciate all the work you put into your cards is to click on them to get the "full effect". FABULOUS!!!!!

How soft and beautiful Velta!! Love your card!! Like always. I believe you really put a part of yourself into every card you make! Love it!

You asked me for my crochet flower inst. I kind of went off of the top of my head and am not completely satisfied with it, but I found Nicole from Capture the Moment PTI to have a great recipe. You can find it here http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2009/05/embellish-it-senior-challenge.html

I am going to try it out too!
Have a great Sunday!

Wow! I love the silver and your very cool paper! Such a pretty ribbon color, too. I purchased some of this because I thought the color was so pretty, but have a hard time finding a color to match it up with. By gosh, I'm going to use it soon, though -- you've inspired me!
