Paper Trey Ink and Just Rite

Hello Everyone!!! So sorry it has been so long since I have posted and/or visited and commented on your blogs! I have truly been busy...mostly with my job, but also with family. We are all well now, but it seems there is always something.

At any rate, I am posting this card that I made for a friend who is retiring.

I used Paper Trey Ink's Delightful Dahlia for the flowers and leaves and JustRite Stamper's Victorian Nested Frames & Occasions.

I used white shimmery cardstock and white text paper from Paper and More. I used SU's Brilliant Blue Cardstock over the White. I scored the text paper with my Scor-Pal. Added the embossed flowers and leaves and Best Wishes Sentiment. Then I added some blue rhinestones to give just a hint of elegance.

Again...it will be a while before I can post again...Please be patient with me. I will be glad to get back into my craftroom on a regular basis again...I SO miss it! Thank you for your comments and your faithfulness...it means a lot to me :) Have a great weekend all!!

Velta, you're a wise woman to keep your priorities straight as well as to not push yourself to overdo it. I'm really working on that, too. Your coworker must have been bedazzled by all this beautiful shimmer, not to mention your thoughtfulness in making her card. I love the score lines, and the rhinestones at the apexes is such a nice touch!

Velta, this card is so gorgeous! Your friend will love it and appreciate all the time you put into making it for her. Don't worry about your posting, we'll be here when you come back! I truly understand the amount of time that goes into designing, photographing and blogging a design . . . I agree with Leslie, you're wise not to push yourself to exhaustion.

Hi Velta, I am so glad to hear you are well, and back crafting. I have been MIA myself since before the holidays when my back went out. Doing better now too.
