Hi Paper Craft Bloggers!!! I am applying for Paper Makeup Stamps Design Team Call with this cute digital image. Ever since I started working with digital images, I have become hooked!
PMS has some of the cutest images and they gave us a couple of "freebies" to get us started on applying for the DT. This image is called "The Heart Fairy." Isn't she the cutest? I colored her with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I also used stickles on the wings, her dress, her hair, and the heart. I used Spellbinders Fancy Tags and Labels Four. I used yellow glitter glue on the tag. The papers came from my stash. Some of them and the sentiment and ribbon came from Paper Trey Ink. The sparkly flowers at the bottom, well, I have no idea where I got them from. I had a tiny butterfly punch and used it on the sentiment, which I heat embossed with Zing Embossing Powder and Versamark. I hope PMS likes yellow, because if not, I am outta luck!!
We were asked to tell why we love digital images. My reasons are because they are easy, they do not take up space, you can print them over and over again as many times as you like, there is NO mess or putting too much ink on the stamp...Why? Because it is digital...and did I mention...they are not expensive at all!!! I am quite sure this is the wave of the future for paper crafters!
Okay, so I have given it a try and we shall see what happens...Whatever, I wish everyone who applies the best of luck and congrats to those who are chosen!!!
Here is wishing you all a great rest of the weekend...Oh my, I just remembered...it is going to be a holiday weekend!!! Oh happy days!! Take care and thank you for your awesome comments!!!

Pretty Palette # 24 My Time Made Easy
Go Me! Go Me!
Hello all blogging friends! I have some great news to share...I have been invited to become a Pretty Palette Member of My Time Made Easy's Design Team! (See side bar on left) It is an honor to be a part of this design team and I want to thank Lauren Meader and Lisa Kind for asking me to become a member of such a wonderful group of talented designers!
First off, you can tell that I need some practice with posting. I have not the slightest idea why the Palette above did not come out bigger...however, it is 11:00 p.m. and I am not about to go about trying to change it now. I am quite certain that you all get the "drift" of the palette though! Thank you for understanding my sleepiness :)
This image is called "Bold Botanicals." It caught my attention because I love images of flowers! The sentiment is from "Bee Loved" and the papers are all from "Fresh Cut Expressions Collection - 2." I have to tell you that this is going to be a fun adventure for me, because going to MTME's shop and picking out the digital stamps (like this one) and then going to pick out the gorgeous papers is too much fun! Within minutes I have what I ordered and can start playing immediately...that is the best!!! There are so many images and so many beautiful designer papers that it is really hard to pick just one. I have ordered many times from Lauren's Shop. She has templates that are to die for. I will be posting some of those as well in the future! Some of the cutest little boxes, purses, teapots, cakes, etc...I could go on and on! I colored the image with my Copic Markers and sponged the background with Momento Green Sprout and from the dollar bin at Michaels I found the cutest little yellow stamp pad that had no name...The ribbon is from stash and the tiny bling is actually "nail art."
I hope you like my first post with this Design Team....I look forward to posting more. Thank you for your visits and for all of the nice comments! And, again, thank you MTME for allowing me to be on such a great team!!!

Serendipity Stamps Challenge
Oh happy days...The weekend is here! It is once again time for a Serendipity Challenge and I hope I have lived up to the expectations of this challenge. Here is the deets...
Due – August 19th, 2011 Winner announced August 22ndRequirements – Send a card (or other project) for which your design inspiration comes from the following photo (photo from Country Living Magazine). The primary stamp used on the project must be a Serendipity Stamps image. Random Drawing Prize – $25 in Serendipity Stamps. Since it is midnight and I could not sleep, I decided to go ahead and post my card for today.
I have used an image from Serendipity Stamps called "Tea Service." Love the old vintage look of this stamp. I colored with both Prisma Color Pencils and Gamsol and my Copic Markers. I added a little bling to the tops of the tea cups and around the image. The fern has been cut out with Spellbinders "Foliage." I also used Papertrey Ink's wood grain impression plate for the background.
This lopsided way of posting is driving me nuts...meaning, blogger has it's own way of putting paragraphs where it wants to. I do not have the time to change it.
I hope you like this rendition of the challenge. I love playing along with Serendipity and their images, which have become a favorite of mine. I have to go to work in the morning and again on Saturday, so I knew I would not have time this weekend to post.
I hope all of you have a very happy and safe weekend and thank you for stopping by to visit!

Pretty Pallete from My Time Made Easy
I have been wanting to join in on My Time Made Easy Pretty Pallette for a while now...and here me am ! These are the colors for this week's palette on the left.
This image is from Lauren Meader's store. Don't ya just love it? It is a digital image called Daphne Dolphin and it was easy peasy to buy, plus I had it on my computer as soon as I could download it. The papers are called Fresh Fabric Collection 2 and 3. All I had to do was download these beautiful papers and again, I had it within minutes. I can use these papers when ever I want and I can use them over and over again as many times as I want!
I colored this darling image with my Prisma Color Pencils and Gamsol. The blue cardstock is "Bashful Blue" from SU. I used my Scalloped Circle Nestabilities and added some rhinestones (they are supposed to look like bubbles) that I have had in my stash. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and I stamped it with Momento Tuxedo Black on the first Spellbinders Labels. The Iridescent Curling Ribbon was a gift from my friend and blogging buddy Beate Johns. I just love that ribbon...Thanks Beate!!
Blogger is giving me fits again...as you can probably tell and I have got to get to work, so I am leaving this as is, even though it drives me nuts!
Thank you all for stopping by and taking a look at one of the things in my life that makes me happy. That is paper crafting! The other things that make me happy are my wonderful family, my faith, my dog "Piper," and my beautiful home. Actually, I can think of so many other things that I decided to leave it alone...otherwise you would get bored and probably jealous... I am so blessed!!

Penny Johnson ~ Little Belinda
Hello everyone! Fabulous weekend for me...I took my adorable grandson "Evan" (almost 3 years old) to see the movie "Winnie the Pooh." I did not watch the movie...I watched him. He was too precious in holding his popcorn with his baby hands cupped so that he would not lose a single piece of his popcorn. He laughed like he was being tickled when the "honey pot" fell on Pooh's head. My smiles could not have been more happy at seeing his excitement. Then we went to see the posters outside of the theather ("ater"). He wants to see "Puss N Boots," which comes out in November. I told him that this might be a scary movie...and he informed me that it was "only cats...big cats, little cats...noting to be afraid of." (noting spoken as a ting). What a blessing!
I am posting a Penny Johnson Stamp called "Little Belinda." This is the cutest image...I used white metallic cardstock from Paper and More for the background. The DP is from Everyday Blessings from Paper Trey Ink. I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 4 to cut out the frame. I then colored the adorable image with my Copic Markers. I used some beaded trim from Hobby Lobby to the top and bottom of the card with a peace lilly, also from Hobby Lobby at the bottom and a MS leaf punch. Click on the picture to see more deets...
I thank you all for your time and comments! Wishing you the best!
