Flourishes Lace Heart

Hi everybody! I wish I had taken this picture with a different colored background as the white makes this card seen so drab. At any rate this was a fun card to make and once again, if you click on it you can see the details much better. I used SU's Basic Gray as the base of this card and the patterned paper is from Michaels. I used two different ribbons, a white sheer and grey velvet on top. My favorite Lace Heart was embossed in silver with a pearl embellishment from The Paper Studio. I mounted this on Nestabilities Heart shaped die template. The Love sentiment is also from Flourishes Lace Heart set, which was also embossed in silver and an added touch is the Swarovski Crystal in the heart at the bottom.

Sorry this is short, but I have to get to work. Here's wishing you a wonderful day!

It's not drab, it is monochromatic! Maybe that is not the right word. I think that means all one color or something like that. I like the black, white, and gray. It's sleek looking. Or as you say in the "Biz," or at least I keep telling you...sheer elegance!

Changing the subject, I got all the ingredients for the Shrimp and Andouille Sausage Gumbo for Eddie to make Thursday to take to the office on Friday. I hope the N'awlins Cajun Bayou Bash goes off without a hitch. I hope we make a lot of money for the Charity Drive. Connie is supposed to help me decorate Thursday afternoon, since she won't participate in the luncheon. Seems shrimp makes her squeamish. I got some cute decorations at Party City. See you Thursday.
