Unity Birthday Stamp

I just had a strawberry milkshake that I made from strawberry Yogurt...Geez it was yummy! I guess I would have to say that ice cream of any sort is my downfall...but I try to eat the healthy yogurt kind because this has no fat and no sugar...it comes from ECBY...Not TCBY, but ECBY. It is kind of expensive, but it is worth it to me and it has gotten to be a habit now. My other downfall is no sugar lemondade from Chic-Fil-A (sp??). My good friend Debbie has enabled me on both of these treats...Thank you Debs! I would love to hear what your downfalls are...besides this expensive stampin habit of ours :)

I have already given this card to the friend that asked for it and so I really do not remember all the deets, but the cupcake stamp came from Unity Stamps. I really like their stamps because they are "big" and easy to work with. I use SU's Tempting Turquoise for the cardstock and SU's designer series paper for the background. I had some left over embossed shimmery white stripe paper that I used embossing with my Happy Birthday Cuttlebug folder and added some polka dot ribbon and bows. I also used Robin's Nest pebbles for accents. The cupcake was colored with my Copic Ciao markers and I also used Liquid Applique for the icing and sprinkled some glitter on top of that. The "Anna" name is computer generated and on the inside of the card I used the computer to personalize a poem for Anna. Then of course the dimensions to make the cupcake pop.

Gotta run...cleaning house time for me...ugh! Have a great week peeps :)

Ohhhh, how pretty this is! I love your cards. They're always so elegant, even when you're using cute images.

The velour paper that you asked about, I got it from Dick Blick, (www.dickblick.com). It's called "velour paper" and it's got a great texture for coloring.

If I enable you, it's only because you enjoy the Chic-Fil-A Diet Lemonade and ECBY (or is it ICBY, whatever) yogurt so much, as much as I do. I did not know you were purchasing yogurt behind my back though. That hurts, cause I am "jonesing" for some right now.

The birthday card is so cute with the cupcake. That is my favorite of that particular set you created.

It looks like there is actual frosting on top, hmmmmm...I wouldn't mind eating a cupcake right now. I have food on the brain and I have to go do something else before I eat myself into trouble. I think the stress of the storm has made me think I am hungry.

Talk at ya later.

So pretty, Velta! Your festive and feminine touches make this a very HAPPY birthday card--the best kind! It's just darling! BTW, my downfall is sweets of just about any kind, preferrably chocolate. I'm no good at looking for the low fat stuff, either. I go ALL the way!
