This was such a fun card to make, but I will bet that I took at least 20 pictures of this card just trying to get a good close up. It is so much prettier IRL. I used SU's Sage Shadow for the cardstock. The beautiful paper came from Tracy Porter Colorbok Memory Craft. I just love this paper and have lots more in different colors. I bought this paper from Michael's, and it came in a 12x12 book...the title on the book was "Surround Yourself with Loveliness!" And I just fell in love with it...I hope there are others out there that get excited over paper...My DD thinks there is something kookoo about me and paper. I feel the same way about fabric and when my DD was little I made all of her clothes for her (ungrateful wench). Sorry...got a little side-tracked. I used Nestibilities Oval Dies and stamped this beautiful image with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored the image with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I used stickles on the flowers and on the water. The butterflies are, of course, MS Punch with little rhinestones down the middle. The flowers and the silver charm flowers were bought from Michael's. I ended by using a corner punch on all 4 sides because I felt it matched the curves on the ovals.
I have more images from these new sets coming up. Artful INKables has them posted at Kristin's store. I just want all of them! Talk about stamp versatality (sp?) and low cost...Check them out...she has stamps for every kind of whim !
Your visit is appreciated...Keep Safe and Take Care !

Fabulous detail, gorgeous image and delish papers - just perfect! x
This is so pretty Velta! I love how you decorated that fountain!
ohhhh so soft subtle and exquisite, Velta!
The paper is very pretty and delicate. I just love how you added the sparkles. Don't feel alone about how excited you get about paper. I'm the same way. Interesting how we're so attracted to these pretties and feel a need to gather them around us. I, too, collected fabric before I gave myself over to stamping. The only thing I saved from my sewing days is the lace and ribbons, and maybe a few tools.
